How To Work Significantly Less, And Get The Same Result

I’ve actually been doing a lot less, but I pretty much the same result. Actually, I think it’s a lot better! I only have time for less – therefore I work smarter. Yada yada yada, you’ve heard this before, right? I suppose so, but I’m still going to tell you about it.

Basically it’s like this. I’m not scrounging for links off of forums anymore, or whipping out link packets or even doing daily blog comments (although, I think I should be). I’ve been doing a few comments here and there, and varying my content. I’ve gone up several pages in Google for putting up Youtube videos, and putting a link back – embedding them probably did something good, as well. I’ve even tweeted my videos, made comments on YouTube, which provides links back to my profile, which adds more views and ranks. It’s not much, but it’s something.

I almost don’t want to ruin it by doing too much!

Here’s what I’ve been doing:

  1. Twitter
  2. Vlogging
  3. Blogging (like right now)
  4. Responding to threads on a single forum
  5. Various tasks – like making videos, and making comments, etc.

That’s it. I think I might be doing better in the search engines, and in general, because I’m more relaxed and becoming more effective. I’m also not even trying anymore. It’s just been flowing perfectly. Here’s a way you can do this too…

What do you want your business to be like? Without any sort of consequences, or restrictions.

What kind of customers do you want to attract? How will they act if they see you? How would you act if you saw them?

What kind of work do you want to do? For me, I just want to come up with evil schemes. Used in a good way – it sounds kind of evil, but no, I’m going to use them for goodness. I’ll do blogging now and then, as well.

How long will you take to finish? I only want to take up maybe 1-3 hours of my time. So I try doing that, but I may get caught up in things, but I still only try taking up a few hours. Maybe less than one-single-hour.

Is it fun, or enjoyable? I mean, everybody should love work. Those people out there who fcuking HATE work have got it all wrong. I know that’s just a shell – they want to do something better, and more meaningful. They’re lying to themselves, or they don’t have the means to do it. They either don’t have enough knowledge, or resources – money, time, etc. I think there’ll always be time, though, so don’t worry.

I’m actually thinking up starting up a new blog. One about nunchucks, and martial arts in general. I LOVE nunchucks, I’m pretty much a master so now I’m inventing new tricks. I can use any joint to rebound them, flip them over my shoulder and catch it with my hands (and feet!), I can kick them up, and tons of other stuff. I love these things, they’re so fun!

And my last point…

How much do you want to get paid? I want to get paid disgustingly large amounts of money, for doing hardly any work that’s fun and enjoyable. I still have to do this, but soon =) Trust me, things move quickly in this world. They move suddenly, even if it doesn’t seem like it.

Ask any old person… Or even yourself. I even ask myself this at 16, ‘Where have the years gone?‘ Not I mostly say ‘months’ or ‘days’ or something, but you get the point. Time moves so fast – therefore we’ll always progress fast. It’s crazy..

Anyways, hope you have a nice day! (Truly)

Kris.
